Tip Farm, Sugar Lane
This shows the original cottage at Tip Farm, so named because much material from the railway cutting beside the cottage (at the north end of the viaduct) was tipped down the valley side and now forms the hillside behind the childrens play ground in Adlington Road. This cottage was replaced in the 1980s? and in the late 2000s planning permission was granted to replace that with a modern half burried eco-house.
