Water Street School class

This appears to be a Victorian school class, and is believed to be at Water Street. Looks like an interesting exercise in building with small bricks!

Billy was a plumber and made this horse for his grandchildren.

This area of land on Sowcar Brook has now disappeared, washed away by the river.

Born 20th September 1923. Lived at Laneside Cottage, Blaze Hill. Attended Pott Shrigley School. Worked at Royle Engineering 1941-6.
