Path to White Nancy
Looking up the ‘trodd’ (stone paved) path to Kerridge Hill and White Nancy from close to the bottom of the path at the top of Lord Street, beside the entrance to Cow Lane. The trodd paths were laid on the routes that mill and quarry workers took to work and back each day. This one would have been used by workers in Kerridge quarries who lived in the lower Chancery Lane and Lord Street area of Bollington.

Bollington north from Nancy Side
Beautiful view over Bollington from Nancy Side showing the town as it was before the developments of the second half of the 20th Century. Notice the green space to the left of St John’s church – the constructions are the remains of the Anderson shelters built for WWII.
