War Grave of George Nolan in France
Samuel and Mary Nolan nee Needham (a navvy and grocer) at the grave of their son George Nolan (see 137/35) in France. This photograph was taken on the battlefield but the grave was later moved to a cemetery. Donor believes that a Weslyan Sunday School Trip was organised for relatives to see the graves perhaps in 1920.
