I believe this to be a bridge over Rudyard canal feeder, located up the Dane valley east of the road bridge at Rushton Spencer. STB

Rudyard feeder is a small canal designed to take water from the River Dane at Gig Mill, Wincle, along the side of the Dane valley to Rushton Spencer then across the Mersey/Trent watershed and deliver it to the reservoir at Rudyard. Rudyard Reservoir provides water to the Caldon Canal, Leek branch, and thence to the Trent & Mersey Canal at Etruria, Stoke on Trent.
