‘Kainit’ promotion
A promotional card for Kainit, a potash rich addition to the fertiliser put on the land to increase crop production. The crop in question is Mangels, a root crop that used to be grown to provide winter feed for cattle and sheep. The crop has gone out of favour and is rearly grown from the 1960s on. Picture taken at Henshaw Hall, Siddington. See 134-29 for a description which is printed on the back of the card.
