Gordon and Elsie Needham (b.1909) nee Longden in front garden of 31 Oak Lane, Kerridge after thier wedding on 2nd September 1939. Elsie is daughter of George Percy Longden and worked as a secretary at the Adelphi Mill in the 1930s and 1940s. A Gordon Needham is the eldest son of A G Needham who established the firm of A G Needham and sons, the wharf, Hurst Lane.
