Photo taken in Paradise St, adjacent to 13/15 Shrigley Road – house & grocery/drapery shop, opposite Beeston Mount. Richard & Martha Ann Wright owned shop & cornmill. Their sons Clifford & Leslie took over the corn business when Richard died in April 1920. Martha Ann & daughter Mary ran grocery/drapery shop.
