Married Elizabeth Almond, dressmaker.
Born 9th July 1859. Died aged 80 on 3rd September 1939. Buried in Pott Shrigley churchyard.

Noted in 1861 census when Richard Wright lived there with his daughter and son in law Sam Pownell. John Wright lived there in the 1930s.
