Bridge in far distance is that over the Middlewood Way today by the ramps. Notice corner of Adelphi mill in top left corner. Notice advertisement board for Pear's soap on southbound platform building. The sign board facing the camera says 'Tr to Stockport'.
Railway closed 3rd January 1971. In 1985 converted to Middlewood Way recreational area.
