On the left is the shop of Simeon Bann, grocer. To the right of that are the premises of Joseph Hamson, painter, decorator and plumber. See “Bollington in old picture postcards” number 35 for full details.

Probably pre 1914. The large building to the right is the Catholic St Gregory’s chapel, since demolished, with the Catholic school next to it, now cottages.
